Operations Manager
- Experience in management, back-office operations, process-building, working in tandem with CWF’s Technology Manager to ensure alignment of compliant processes with CWD IT Systems, role an absolute prerequisite for this position
- This role will report directly to the President and will take part in senior management level discussions including crafting strategy and policy decision making.
- This position will direct and control CWF’s internal operations as well as external activities, ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed and delegating responsibilities to staff as needed to meet the CWF’s objectives.
- Will risk in the operations area and implement effective risk controls and mitigations. While adhering to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with CWF’s regulatory standards, policies, and practices.
- Report, gain approval, and direct correction of control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational defects.
- Will develop and maintain relationships with industry groups and organizations to keep abreast of changes in federal and state regulations and ensure that changes are internally implemented in a timely fashion.
- Deep industry experience (10-15 years) and professional leadership experience in a regulated multinational for or nonprofit organization.
- Strong operational background required; previous experience in a senior management role strongly preferred. Included in this would be decision maker, problem solver, analytical ability and good numeric skills including use of automated solutions.
- The individual need not be a technologist; however, they must be comfortable working immersed in a technology-focused environment. The Operations Manager will be expected to lead / participate in the analysis and implementation of technology deployment along with the Technology manager, and that the internal processes are reflected as such, across all applicable CWF departments
- This position needs excellent verbal and written communication skills. The Operations Manager should have the ability to motivate and lead a team, coordinate internal and external resources, and achieve measurable results against goals.
- Works in tandem with HR Manager to ensure CWF’s various critical volunteer roles are being filled as needed
- Coordinates general on-boarding and off-boarding for department staff, in coordination with Hiring Manager and CWF HR Office
- Responsible for all process mapping, Orga chart, ORCI work allocation, and best practice development.
- Reports directly the he President.
- Reviews and approves requests for purchasing supplies and equipment for the department in accordance with CWF policies and procedures
- Audit workflow to ensure procedures are followed in accordance with compliance and best practices.
- Adopt ISO 9001 into documentation management and process improvement.
- Serve as an expert on CWF’s IT products and provide training to volunteers and responding to questions, in coordination with CWF IT office
- Directly overseas QMS and SCM activities, as well as cost-cutting and efficiency improvement for the organization as a whole
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the department’s onboarding and training documents in accordance with CWF policies and procedures
